The Bolstron range of hydraulically powered bollards can be operated by all remote access control methods, by either the user or security personnel. Each system is tailored to match the user’s requirements and advice can be given on traffic control and safety aspects. All Bolstron Automatic Bollards are approved by UK Highways Agency.
The Bolstron bollards are fast acting – raising or lowering within 6 seconds – and are ideally suited to pedestrianisation schemes, bus lane control, controlled parking, motorway service areas, private roads and security systems.
Boasting industry-leading protection against vehicle impact, the bollards will continue to operate even after severe impact. Built to last, the polyurethane casing resists chipping, corrosion, vandalism and theft.
The Bolstron bollard include numerous safety features – including indicator controls informing motorists when a bollard is fully lowered and the ability to withstand up to 30 tonne axle load.
Available options include over-ride devices for emergency services, a configurable control system that adapts to all needs as well as models, colours and finishes to suit your requirements, including emblems, crests and logos.
